Student work in FDP

Student scholarship can be uploaded to FDP! We have several options for students to share their work. This page provides more information on including student scholarship on FDP for undergraduate students, graduate students, and faculty working with these students.

Undergraduate Scholarship

Sharing your work in FDP e is a great way to enhance your portfolio or resume and contribute to knowledge within the scholarly community. There are several ways you can make your work available in FDP:

Adding your scholarship to FDP:

Submit your work to a Fisher student journal. Some active, Fisher-published journals that are available in FDP include: 

Upload capstone projects, major papers, or presentations through upper-level coursework

  • FDP staff can include student work on FDP if it has been supported or vetted by a faculty member in some way. Examples include submitting a culminating paper or project from an independent study, a class uploading culminating projects or research papers from an upper level or capstone course, or a presentation or poster project. If your work was submitted elsewhere for publication, or if you are unsure if your work is is able to be shared on FDP, contact us! 

Graduate Scholarship

Students enrolled in graduate programs at Fisher are encouraged to add their scholarship to FDP. Submitting your work for inclusion in FDP allows you to promote and maintain access to a permanent record of your scholarship. Depending on the program and students' individual goals for scholarly publication, some students are required to include at least the citation information for their culminating scholarship.

Masters Scholarship

For students in masters programs, such scholarship may include theses, capstone papers, or conference presentations. Some masters programs have courses in which you may submit your final thesis or capstone work to FDP, such as those within the School of Education or School of Nursing. For assistance submitting your work to FDP, please contact us. 

Doctoral Scholarship

Some doctoral programs require students to submit their final dissertation, project, or manuscript for inclusion on FDP. If you are planning to publish your work elsewhere after graduation, you may wish to include only a citation of your work on FDP. 

Ed.D. Dissertation Submission

Candidates in the Ed.D. program are able to include either a citation for their dissertation or the full-text of their dissertation on FDP. If you plan to submit your work for publication in a scholarly journal or publish a book based on your dissertation, you are also able to delay release of your work on FDP for a specific timeframe. 

DNP Manuscript Submission

DNP Candidates are able to include either a citation for their project or the full-text of their project on FDP. you plan to submit your work for publication in a scholarly journal or publish a book based on your dissertation, you are also able to delay release of your work on FDP for a specific timeframe. Connect with your Faculty Advisor to determine which option is best for you.
