Scanners in Lavery Library

Located on the second floor of Lavery Library in the Printer room against the east wall

 

The Color Touchscreen Scanner

The color touchscreen scanner saves the document as a pdf that can be:
  • E-mail.  Only St John Fisher email can be used
  • Google Drive.  Any Google account can be used including ones not associated with St John Fisher
  • USB.  There is a USB port on the right side of the Monitor.

Notice: The copyright law of the United States (Title 17, U.S. Code) governs the making of Photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.  The person using this equipment is liable for any infringement.

 

If you see this error message "System not Ready ..... No Scanners Detected"

The scanner has been turned off.  To turn the Scanner back on press the small power button on the right side of the scanner.  The power button will glow blue when the scanner is on.

Place your document face down.  The documents corner should be on the scanner's bottom left corner.

 

Library_Black can Print, Scan and Copy

Library_Black is located on the second floor of Lavery Library in the Printer room against the east wall.

To Copy or Scan

  1. Swipe your Fisher ID card using the card reader to access Library_Black functions or login using your Fisher account.  (Note: card swipe has been having issues so you may need to login)
  2. Insert document to be copied/scanned  in top of feeder (place pages face up)  OR open top of scanner to place item directly on the scanner.
  3. Pick the "Access Device" icon to copy or "Scan" icon to scan.
  4. Select 2-sided if the original has information on the front and back of the paper to be copied/scanned.
    Example. "1-sided -> 2 sided" click "OK".
  5. Press "OK" when/if prompted with letter tray.
  6. Press green "Start" button to start copying or scanning.
  7. Wait for the "processing data" green light to finish sending if you are scanning
  8. Remember to "log out" on lower right corner of screen when finished
