Your librarian will help your students self-enroll in Library 3990 Essentials during their brief introduction visit a few weeks before the class session. Students will complete this mini course before the librarian class session in order to find a scholarly journal article for their topic and earn a Certificate of Completion.
You choose: students can complete this as homework, or you can choose to provide in-class time.
The library support for online sections is comprised of two library modules, and students will complete Library 3990 Essentials in Module 1.

Students earn a Certificate of Completion after completing all of the activities, and earning at least 80% on the final quiz. Students may retake the quiz as many times as they need to.
It will take students about 20-60 minutes to earn a Certificate of Completion, which is emailed to students. Students can also find their Certificate in Brightspace
After completing Library 3990 Essentials and earning an 80% on the final quiz, students will receive an email with their Certificate of Completion. They can also find their Certificate in Brightspace. Select Awards:
