Your librarian will help your students self-enroll in Library 3990 Essentials during their brief introduction visit a few weeks before the class session. Students will complete this mini course before the librarian class session in order to find a scholarly journal article for their topic and earn a Certificate of Completion.
You choose: students can complete this as homework, or you can choose to provide in-class time. It takes 45-60 minutes to complete.
The library support for online sections is comprised of two library modules, and students will complete Library 3990 Essentials in Module 1.

Complete this course before your library session in order to earn your Certificate of Completion.

Students earn a Certificate of Completion after completing all of the activities, and earning at least 80% on the final quiz. Students may retake the quiz as many times as they need to.
It will take students about 45-60 minutes to earn a Certificate of Completion, which is emailed to students. Students can also find their Certificate in Brightspace
