Welcome

Lavery Library welcomes non-Fisher visitors in accordance with these policies.

Building, Conduct, and Collection Policies:

Building access:

  • Library spaces are dependent upon availability, with current Fisher students, faculty, and staff receiving priority access.
  • For up to date building hours, use this link.

Conduct:

  • Guests are welcome to utilize the library in accordance with the University's policies and Student Code of Conduct.
  • Guests that violate these policies or disturb our community will be asked to leave campus. The University reserves the right to remove guests from campus at any time.

Collection Access:

  • Materials are available for in-building use. Nazareth, RRLC, and Alumni borrowers may have additional access as described in our Loan Periods and Policies.
  • Databases are available for on-campus use. For a list of publicly available databases that may be accessed from off-campus, select from our list of free/open access databases.

Computer and Information Technology Access Policy

Computer Access:

  • Library spaces have limited guest availability, with current Fisher students, faculty, and staff receiving priority access. The library has one computer near the Library Service Desk that may be accessed by community users. Depending upon the needs of the Fisher community, we may not be able to offer computer station access to guest users. 
  • Guest wi-fi is available (SJFC-Guest).
