Learning Objectives, Intro to K-12 Resources

Through this library session, students will learn to:

  • observe how different material types are organized in a K-12 library.
  • identify keywords from an assigned lesson plan topic. 
  • explore K-12 databases and their potential role in lesson-planning and lesson plans.
  • select and acquire multiple material types for a lesson including picture/chapter book, Dewey (non-fiction) book, K-12 textbook/teacher resource, and manipulatives.

All K-12 materials were purchased with SoE majors / future teachers in mind.

There is no limit to the number of materials a patron can borrow at a time.

Most K-12 materials checkout for a 28-day period.
